Account & Data
Delete your account
Searchlight uses read-only Google OAuth — we never store your Search Console data. Revoking access takes 30 seconds directly from your Google account.
What data Searchlight holds
- Your Google name and email — Stored locally on your device only. Used to personalise the app. Never sent to our servers.
- OAuth access token — Stored locally on your device. Used to read your Search Console data in real time. Never stored on our servers.
- Search Console data — Never stored anywhere. Every request goes directly from your device to Google's API.

Option 1 — Remove access yourself (instant)
The fastest way is to revoke access directly from your Google account. This immediately disconnects Searchlight from your Search Console. Uninstalling the app removes the locally stored name, email, and token.
1
Go to your Google account permissions
Visit Google's security settings and find Searchlight in the list of connected apps.
Open Google permissions2
Find and remove Searchlight
Click on Searchlight → "Remove access". The token is revoked immediately.
3
Uninstall the app
This removes the locally stored name, email, and token from your device.
Option 2 — Email us
If you'd prefer us to handle it, send us an email. We will confirm deletion within 30 days (there is very little on our end to delete — see above).
